Mt. Pleasant Twp, Westmoreland Co, PA - a farmer

He acquired his education in the common schools, and about 1882 commenced farming in Mount Pleasant township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. He gave his entire time and attention to agricultural pursuits, and met with the most gratifying success in this line. He was a Republican in politics, and in 1903 was elected a school director.
