General Notes: Husband - James M. Ross

---

He was reared to agricultural pursuits, and worked by the month for four or five years. In 1848 he came to a farm in Peters township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, which he purchased in 1855. He was actively interested in the welfare of the Republican party, and in religious faith was a member of the United Presbyterian Church at Peters Creek.
