General Notes: Husband - William E. Ross
He was reared in Peters Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, where he attended the district schools several months each winter until about 17 years of age, and thereafter was engaged in agricultural pursuits, having purchased a farm in March, 1896, from the Kraeer heirs. There were 30 acres of the farm in Robeson Township, Washington County, and the remaining 60 acres were located in Allegheny County. Mr. Ross remodeled the former dwelling into a fine modern residence, and also erected a new bank barn.
He was a Republican in politics, and the family attended the First Presbyterian Church of McDonald.
