She came from a Williams family, three daughters and six sons, that was a remarkable one, the sons being ministers of the Gospel, except one, Thomas Williams, who was president of the Missouri State University, and another, Rev. John Williams, was a famous Methodist minister of the Pittsburgh conference. One of the daughters was a missionary to Australia, another married a Mr. Roberts, another was the wife of Matthew Moses.
