General Notes: Husband - James McIntyre


Until the age of twenty-six years he was his father's assistant. In 1841 he settled in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, where he resided until 1866, when he bought a farm in Ross township, Allegheny County, on which he lived until his death. He was a Whig in politics, and an active member of the United Presbyterian Church.
