Aaronsburg, Haines Twp, Centre Co, PA

He settled near Aaronsburg, Pennsylvania, in early manhood, and cleared the farm now known as "Pleasant View," but in October, 1865, moved to the town to engage in general mercantile business.

At one time he represented his district in the State Legislature.
