General Notes: Husband - John Strohm


He was married in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, and in 1835 removed to Centre County, locating in Potter township, near Centre Hill, the journey being made in a large wagon with several horses. Being a man of considerable means, he purchased a valuable property of 270 acres, which he successfully operated until his death.
In politics he was an Old-line Whig, and manifested his religious belief by his membership in the Evangelical Church.
