General Notes: Husband - Fred Pilgram

He assisted his father in the work of the home farm from the time he left school, at the age of sixteen, until his marriage. He then moved to the farm owned by his wife’s parents, and conducted it.

General Notes: Wife - Mollie Oshall

She received her education in the district schools of Perry Township, Mercer County, PA, and at Fredonia Institute and, some time prior to her marriage, taught in Otter Creek Township. Afterward she returned to the family homestead to comfort and assist her mother, and there she wedded Mr. Pilgram. In 1908 she became so broken in health that her husband left the farm, whose management he had assumed, and took her to Colorado Springs. Mrs. Pilgram had been a really sick woman for nearly two years, but her sunny disposition and her constant thought of others had tended to hide the serious nature of her malady from even the members of her household. But when she reached Colorado the disease had made such inroads upon her constitution that her case became hopeless, and within five months from the time of leaving her home, she passed away with a serene Christian spirit, sustained both by the faith of her religion and the pervading love of relatives and friends. The deceased was a devout member of the Reformed church, and hers was a beautiful spiritual combination of womanly strength and feminine bouyancy. [HMC 1909, 997]
