General Notes: Husband - Matthew Tate

Goshen Twp, Clearfield Co, PA

He was born on Clover Hill, near Clearfield, Pennsylvania, and he purchased a part of a farm, later owned by his son Ira F., prior to his marriage and erected several of the buildings. He was a farmer all through his years of strength and activity, and continued to reside on this farm until his death, which occurred in his seventy-ninth year. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. For a number of years he was identified with the Goshen Grange.


General Notes: Wife - Jane Mead


She died when about seventy-six years of age.
