General Notes: Husband - James McCracken


Of Scotch ancestry, he came to Mercer County, PA, as a pioneer in 1811, taking up his residence in Mill Creek Township, where he established the first tannery in the county, and for a number of years operated it. He was a soldier in the war of 1812.
