General Notes: Husband - Robert T. Maxwell

He was a young boy when his parents settled in Butler, Pennsylvania, where he was educated in the public school. He began business life as a salesman of foundry products at Fairview. In 1865 he moved to Reno, Pennsylvania, where subsequently he was engaged in some form of the oil business. In 1887 he came to Bradford, and as the infirmities of age came upon him he retired from all active work.
