General Notes: Husband - James Maxwell


He was a hatter, following that trade in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and in Ohio, later moved to Butler County, Pennsylvania, where he bought and cultivated a farm. He was a Republican after the formation of that party, and an elder of the Presbyterian church.
