At an early day he came from Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, to Clearfield County, locating on the Fenton farm in Penn township, but afterward he removed to Grampian, where his death occurred.

After the death of her first husband, she married again and lived on a farm near Glen Hope, Pennsylvania, but after the death of her second husband she returned to Bloom township, Clearfield County, making her home with her son-in-law, John Hepburn, until she, too, was called to the world beyond.
