General Notes: Husband - Joseph Bailey

Pike Twp, Clearfield Co, PA - a farmer

He was born in Centre County, Pennsylvania, and settled in early life in Pike township, Clearfield County.

After his marriage he engaged in lumbering and agricultural pursuits. He was politically a Republican and served as road supervisor. He was an attendant of the M. E. church. At one time he was the owner of 700 acres of land, leaving 250 acres to his heirs, the remaining amount having been sold for a stone quarry, which had not been developed at the time of his death. He died aged seventy-nine years.
