He was born on the farm in Irwin Township where he still [1919] lives, and which formed part of his father's homestead place. It lies near Nectarine, two or three miles west of Clintonville. All his active years were spent in agricultural pursuits there, and he has always been one of the most respected citizens in his locality. [CAB, 1059]
