General Notes: Husband - John McFadden


He was born in 1799. [HBC 1883, 433]
He was born in America, but was of Irish Ancestry.
Another source states that he was born in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania.

He was reared in Venango County, Pennsylvania, and Perry County, Ohio. From thirteen years of age he lived in Irwin township, Venango County. He was a natural mechanic, and followed the trades of a car­penter and a millwright. It is said he built nearly all the blasts for furnaces, and the saw and grist mills in his locality. He owned a farm of 160 acres of land in Irwin township, which he cleared and improved, and there died.
Another source states that he died in 1876.
He died in 1881. [HBC 1895, 1315]
