May 10.-Andrew Thompson was found dead Saturday morning in his barn, where he was doing chores. He was aged 75 years and leaves his wife, nine children and several grandchildren. Funeral services were held this afternoon at the home and interment was made in the Penn Line cemetery.
General Notes: Wife - Manda Eleanor "Ellen" Lusher
Her guardian after her father's death and mother's remarriage was Samuel Stroup. In 1908, when making an affidavit on behalf of her mother's pension application, she gives her name as Manda E. Thompson. Her tombstone gives her name as Ellen A. Thompson and gives her year of birth as 1862. Her obituary implies that she was born in 1860.

Mrs. Andrew Thompson
Mrs. Andrew Thompson, 80, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rell Hague, Beaver Township, Monday evening.
Surviving are five sons: Samuel of Farmville, Va.; Roy and Alec of Ashtabula, Ohio; and Glenn and Howard of Amboy, Ohio; two daughters; Mrs. Violet Miller of Ashabula, Ohio; and Mrs. Rell Hague of Beaver Township; one half sister, Mrs. Ada Smith of Rock Creek, Ohio; 27 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hague, Beaver Township, after Tuesday evening. Services will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Peterson funeral home in Linesville, with interment following in the Penn Line Cemetery.
