General Notes: Husband - Charles Herbert Maurhoff


He received a classical education in Thiel College, Greenville, Pennsylvania, and moved to Brackenridge in 1890. He was secretary of the Brackenridge Estate, which originally covered the land later occupied by Tarentum, Brackenridge, and Natrona. He and his family were members of the Lutheran Church, and he was a member of the Masonic Fraternity and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.
