General Notes: Husband - Robert Mickey

Until about 1883, he lived in the house built by his grandfather, but, in 1880, he built his own house, across the road from his birthplace. For several years before his death his father's farm was rented, but when Robert was eighteen years of age he took a part of it into his own hands for his mother, and a few years later bought the shares of his two sisters, giving him three quarters of the mansion farm. He also owned the adjoining property, known as the Thomas Mickey farm.
He and his wife belonged to Big Spring Presbyterian Church.

Besides the children listed there were three who died young.
