General Notes: Husband - John Lohr


He was born in Cremahoning township, Somerset County, Pennsylvania, where he received his education in district schools. He assisted in the labors of the farm until the time of his marriage, when he rented a farm, later purchasing one. Subsequently he rented another farm near Millwood, Westmoreland County. He was a Republican, and a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church at Latrobe.
In the latter years of his life he withdrew from the labors of a farmer's life and took up his abode with his daughter, Mrs. Alfred Kepple, of Latrobe, where he passed away at the advanced age of eighty-seven.
