General Notes: Husband - John Learn

The surname "Learn" was formerly spelled Larner, but just when the change in form was made is not known. The family came from Holland to the north of England, from which country they came to America.

He and a brother came from Philadelphia about 1750 and settled at a place now called Tannersville, in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, where he purchased a large tract of land.
