General Notes: Husband - Andrew Learn

He was a native of Pennsylvania, and located at an early period on Sewickley creek, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. His father and wife, their son George and wife and family, were killed by the Indians near Blue mountains. The tradition was that this massacre was committed by seven Indians from the Lake Erie country.

A descendant of English ancestors, he himself was a native of Pennsylvania, and settled in Bell township, Westmoreland County, where on April 28, 1785, he patented two hundred and seventy-three acres of wild land.
