General Notes: Husband - John Shields Jackson


He spent much of his life on the old home farm; he attended the Grove City College for three years, but abandoned his studies there to take up active farming operations when twenty-one years of age. He was one of the most progressive farmers in that region of the country and was one of the few who used tractors for plowing and other farm work.
