General Notes: Husband - Seraphim Kaney


He accepted a position in Peterson's Salt Works, rising to the position of foreman, an office he filled many years. In 1867 he bought a farm near Alexandria, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, where his death occurred. He was thrown from a horse at the age of sixty-six years, and died from the effects of the shock.
