General Notes: Husband - Daniel Watson

He came from England and settled in Wilmington, DE, later locating at Lisbon, in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County, PA. He there erected an axe factory which he had in operation by April, 1850, conducting it until his death. His wid­ow and partner, Isaac Robinson, carried it on afterward. This factory was destroyed nine times by overflowing water.
