General Notes: Husband - John T. P. Watson
He was engaged from 1853 to 1856 in learning the trade of saddler. In 1859 he took up his residence at Franklin, Pennsylvania, where he became proprietor of the Watson Saddlery, and later he reopened the coal yards formerly carried on by his brother. He was an influential man in the town in his day, his intelligence and public spirit making him very valuable as a citizen.
