General Notes: Husband - William Holtzer


He was born in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, near Weaver's Old Stand, and was reared on the home farm. In his early life he learned the trades of distiller and cooper, which he followed for a number of years, and then located in Greensburg, where he was engaged in the butchering business for some time. Subsequently he removed to a farm near Delmont, where he spent his remaining days. He was a Democrat in his political views and a Lutheran in religious faith, serving for a number of years as an official in the church.
