General Notes: Husband - William Hoge
He settled in Washington, Pennsylvania, and owned a half interest in the property his father had purchased. His farm in the north part of the town was later owned by Harry Shirls. He was elected member of Congress, and served from 1801 to 1803, but resigned in 1804, and was again elected in 1806 and served from 1807 to 1809. He was also elected associate judge, and served from 1798 to 1802.
