General Notes: Wife - Ann Irish

She inherited, under her father's will, a plantation called "Private Neck" on the west branch of the Delaware river, being part of his original survey at the mouth of the Saucon creek, which he reserved when he sold his plantation to George Crookshank. He also gave her five hundred pounds in money to be put out at interest until she was twenty years of age, also a negro woman called Martilla and her daughter, a girl called Betty. William Allen, chief justice of Pennsylvania, was her guardian.
