Uniontown, Fayette Co, PA

He was educated in the public schools of his native township and at eighteen years of age entered the employ of Semans & Hustead at Percy and continued to be employed by that firm's successors (Hustead, Seamans & Co.); for a time at McDonald, then at Dunbar, Fayette Supply Company and for ten years or more at Uniontown. Mr. Hankins was a member of Uniontown council two years-1892-4.
