She attended the public schools of Beaver County, Pennsylvania, and a Methodist Episcopal Female College; graduated as a deaconess and served as a missionary; she was now stationed at the Crittenden Home, Washington, D. C.; she was also city missionary at Akron, Ohio, and served as assistant superintendent of the Crittenden Home there.
