General Notes: Husband - David Graham Andrews

He was engaged both in farming and milling operations near Mt. Pleasant, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and he owned a hotel in that place. He died when about fifty years of age.

He acquired a thorough and practical education in the Mount Pleasant Institute, from which he was graduated. He then turned his attention to agricultural pursuits and continued until 1886, when his health failed and he was forced to abandon that occupation. He changed his place of abode to the village of Mount Pleasant, and the following four years acted as a messenger between Pittsburgh and Mount Pleasant. He then established the hotel known as the Andrews House, which he conducted successfully for six years, and of which he was the proprietor at the time of his decease. He was a member of the United Presbyterian church, a member of the Order of United Workmen, Royal Arcanum, and Heptasophs.
