General Notes: Husband - William Haggarty

He was a prominent farmer in Mercer County, Pennsylvania, and was a constable and tax-collector for fourteen years, he being a collector at the date of his death. He was an active member of the Baptist church in Sharon and politically was a Democrat.
He and his wife had nine children, of whom six lived to maturity.
