General Notes: Husband - Col. William Anderson

---

He sailed from Ireland in the latter part of the eighteenth century, and upon reaching America settled in what is now Unity township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. Here he engaged in farming, and developed an excellent farm of more than one hundred acres and there spent the remainder of his life. He was a soldier in the War of 1812.
