General Notes: Husband - Henry Thompson Cochran
He was reared on a farm, educated in the public schools, and worked on the farm until he was twenty years of age, when he entered his father's store, as clerk, at the Spring Grove coke works, and five years later went to the Cochran company store at Vanderbilt, and was made outside foreman at the Clarissa mines.
