General Notes: Husband - Samuel Smeal

---

He was born, reared and educated in Bradford township, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania. He married and they located in the midst of the forest in Graham township, where he opened up an excellent farm, and they reared their family of thirteen children.
He served as tax collector in his township.
