General Notes: Husband - Alexander Ambrose

He was born in the Ligonier Valley, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and received his education in the schools of the township. He purchased his father's farm of one hundred and twenty-eight acres, and devoted his life to its cultivation and improvement. He was a Republican and took an active part in township affairs, filling the offices of assessor and tax collector. He was a member of St. James' Lutheran Church, earnestly devoted to its support and to the maintenance of its work.

He passed away at the age of sixty-two.
