General Notes: Husband - William B. Sumney


Prior to his marriage he worked with his father at the potter's trade, but after that event he bought fifty acres of land, to which he devoted his attention. Politically he was an adherent of Democratic principles, and in religious faith he and his family were members of the Presbyterian Church.
