He came to Mosiertown, Crawford County, Pennsylvania, in 1882, and established a general merchandise store, and also carried on a hotel. In September, 1883, he took into partnership Newell E. White. They had a full stock of dry goods, groceries, etc., and a complete line of goods for general merchandising.
Mr. Fullerton was a lifelong Democrat.
