Sherman M. Ford.
Sherman M. Ford, aged 34 years, died at his home, No. 912 East Second street at 10 o'clock last night from double pneumonia, after one week's illness. The deceased was born at at Springcreek, September 25, 1884, but moved with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ford, to Corry when he was quite small, and that was his home until a few years ago when he removed to Oil City to work as a clerk in the freight offices of the P. R. R. He was a member of Oil City tent No. 21, K. O. T. M., and of the Watchmen of the World, this city.
Besides his wife and one child he leaves his parents of Corry, and one brother, Francis Ford, of Glendale, Cal.
Private services will be held at Grove Hill cemetery at 4 o'clock this afternoon.

Mrs. Ford Dies Friday At Hospital
Mrs. Margaret M. Ford, 68, of 902 W. 1st St., widow of Sherman M. Ford, died unexpectedly at 9:40 p. m. Friday in the Oil City Hospital where she was admitted Thursday as a patient.
Mrs. Ford, a lifelong resident of the Oil City area, was born January 16, 1892, in Galloway, a daughter of Albert J. and Rebecca Redmond Lusher.
She and Mr. Ford were married in Oil City in 1912. He died in 1918.
Mrs. Ford worked for the National Transit Company for 23 years, retiring in 1948.
She was graduated from the Oil City High School in 1910.
She was a member of Grace Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son, Robert Ford, with whom she made her home.
The body was removed to the Osenider Funeral Home where friends may call after 7 p. m. today. Funeral arrangements will be announced.

Ford - Lusher
Sherman M. Ford of the P. R. R., and Miss Margaret Mae Lusher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John D. Lusher, were married at noon Wednesday by Rev. W. S. Mitchell, pastor of Grace M. E. church. The ceremony took place at the home of the bride, No. 212 East Second street. The bride wore a gown of white satin and white picture hat and carried a sheaf of bride's roses. She was attended by Miss Grace Kennedy, whose gown was of pink satin. Miss Edith Cochran played the wedding march. The best man was John H. Wagner.
Mr. and Mrs. Ford will be at home after September 1 at 212 West Second street.
