General Notes: Husband - Henry C. Titus

He grew up on his father's farm, and attended the home schools. He married, and they settled in the region of Lake Pleasant, Pennsylvania, where, with the exception of about six months in 1862 spent in Iowa, they thereafter resided. They had a farm of 100 acres, besides a grist mill and saw mill, situated at the outlet of Lake Pleasant.
He was a stanch Democrat and was several years Township Commissioner.
