General Notes: Husband - Thomas Douglass


His father was a native of Scotland, and settled in Adams County, Pennsylvania.

He was born in Adams County, Pennsylvania, and when seven years of age came to Allegheny County and settled in Elizabeth township, where he lived until his death.

He and his wife were early settlers in Elizabeth township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, where they owned a farm on what later became the site of the Country Club. The place comprised about two hundred acres. They were members of the United Presbyterian Church, and he was active in the public affairs of the township.
