General Notes: Husband - John Allen

---

He went with his father to Suffield, where he took the oath of allegiance January 30, 1678, and had a grant of 40 acres August, 1685. All of his large family but one escaped in the attack of the Indians of February 29, 1704, but on the 11th of May he was killed at "The Bars" and his wife was taken and killed in the woods.
