General Notes: Husband - Peter Young

---

He immigrated to America from Donegal, Ireland, about 1795, and soon after landing came to Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, where he engaged in farming and remained until 1800. He came to Big Beaver township, Beaver County, in 1800, and purchased one hundred acres of land, which was a part of the population tract taken up by Robert Wylie, and there he remained until his death.

A native of Ireland, he immigrated to Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, in 1790, and later removed to Beaver County, where the balance of his life was spent.

He and his wife had eight children.
