Children

General Notes: Husband - John David Scholl

After several of their children were born, they sold out their land in Hanover township, Northampton county, Pennsylvania, in 1801, and removed to New York state, going with the tide of immigrants to the newly opened Genesee country. He was an Ensign in the New York militia as early as 1803. He lived near Mt. Morris in Livingston county until about 1831, when he removed with others of his family to Hillsdale county, Michigan, then just beginning to be colonized. He was a farmer, but also earlier a flour miller, being owner of the Williamson Mill at Dansville, New York. As a resident of Jonesville, Michigan, he applied for a pension for service in the Revolution, but the application was rejected because he had not served full six months, as required by the pension law of 1832
