General Notes: Husband - John Dewoody


His father moved from Pittsburgh, PA, to the valley of Sandy creek, settling on the old Pittsburgh road in Victory Township, Venango County. He owned a portion of his father's land and kept hotel there for many years. He and his wife were charter members of the Presbyterian church at Polk.
