General Notes: Husband - James Jones
He was born in Ligonier township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and there received his education. For a number of years he was engaged in agricultural pursuits, but later was employed for a long time by the Standard Oil Company at their Millbank pumping station. He was a Democrat and served at least two terms as constable of Ligonier township. He affiliated with the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, of Ligonier, and with the Encampment. Another fraternal organization with which Mr. Jones affiliated was the Woodmen of the World. He was a member of the Evangelical church of Ligonier.
