General Notes: Husband - John Deeds

---

He was reared to manhood on his father's farm and continued to carry on his father's occupation until his death. He was of an eminently retiring disposition and upright life. He joined the Methodist Episcopal church as a young man, was very devout in his religious life and did much to advance the cause of that church in the community.
