General Notes: Husband - Robert Temple

In youth he was bound out, as was the custom of those days, and he learned the trade of shoemaker, which he followed for many years. He served in the War of 1812. He was the owner of a farm of one hundred acres near Hopewell, Hopewell township, Beaver county, Pennsylvania. He was a staunch Abolitionist. He and his wife were members of the Presbyterian Church.
