General Notes: Husband - Robert Curry


He came to Titusville, Pennsylvania, as a young man. He married and took up a tract of land in Cherry Tree township, Venango County, which he cleared and improved. He was drafted in the war of 1812 but was excused from serving. He was a Whig and afterward a Republican in politics. He died in Franklin while attending court. He and his wife reared four sons and four daughters.
